Do you use our light fixtures with staircase switches?

Created12/10/2021

Have you ever noticed that your Immax NEO light resets after you flip the staircase light switch? This is not a technical defect with the light; the cause is voltage induction in the electrical wiring. It is necessary to add an interference suppression capacitor for LED products to the circuit.

All of the smart lights in our product lineup use power supplies designed for LED lighting. These power supplies have such low power consumption that the voltage induced in the parallel wires of the staircase switch affects their operation. In this case, the light resets.

A Simple Solution

This is a common phenomenon that, in most cases, manifests as flickering of an LED light or LED bulb. By connecting this interference suppression capacitor in parallel, you’ll interrupt the flow of all power in the circuit. This way, the lights will have nothing to respond to. One interference suppressor is sufficient for each Immax NEO light fixture.

This allows you to install Immax NEO fixtures above a staircase or in a long hallway. Choose from our selection of wall and ceiling lights. Their design is well-suited to such spaces. You can find the LED noise filter on our website HERE
