These days, there are plenty of ways to make your home theater experience as close as possible to that of a movie theater—from a well-designed sound system to an infinitely large image created by a projector. So what do you need?

Everyone has a different idea of what a home theater should be. Some people prioritize perfect audio, while others are satisfied with a comfortable chair. But the complete movie experience stands or falls on the atmosphere. So how can you get as close to that atmosphere as possible?

There’s a lot that could be written about TVs. Technology has advanced rapidly in recent years. From LED to OLED, the new QLED, and HDR display options. This is essentially getting closer to reality—and thus to accurate color reproduction. However, nothing beats a projector in this regard. You can’t go wrong choosing one for your home theater.

Lighting for an Unbeatable Atmosphere

Black out the windows and turn off all the lights. That’s usually the first thing to do before pressing play on the remote. A movie theater really isn’t compatible with natural or ordinary light. However, if we opt for a more modern alternative in the form of smart lights, we can double the enjoyment of the movie.

Smart light bulbs now offer the full color spectrum. All you have to do is place them in the right spot. Then you can adjust their brightness and color using your cell phone or a remote control. Depending on the type of movie and your current mood, you can choose the right lighting.

There is a wide selection available, and you can choose a combination of several types of lighting. LED strips can be placed around the TV to illuminate the entire screen. The ceiling light takes center stage. The individual filament bulbs create the perfect atmosphere with their unique qualities.
