Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Immax NEO PRO App

A simpler user interface, communication via both Wi-Fi and ZigBee technology, more features, and a modern look. This year, we launched an improved version of our smart app. Immax NEO PRO stands out because it can connect products from different manufacturers that run on different systems. We’ll walk you through the individual steps for controlling it. 

Getting Started with the Immax NEO PRO App

The Immax NEO PRO app is available on the Apple Store and Google Play. We operate on the global Tuya platform, which allows the app to connect devices from different manufacturers, subject to certain conditions. You can find everything you need to know about compatibility here. How do you set up the entire system? Let’s go through everything step by step: 

  1. Download the Immax NEO PRO app from the Apple Store or Google Play

  2. Launch the app on your cell phone or tablet 

  3. If you no longer have an active account, please sign up

  4. After logging in, your home settings will open 

  5. In the "Profile" section, you can set additional information and the location of your household 

    • Tip: If you plan to connect a large number of devices and then share the profile with other members of your household, it's best to go through the entire setup process. This will make the remaining steps as clear as possible. 

      Connecting the Immax NEO Smart Gateway 

      The Immax NEO app connects devices that communicate via a Wi-Fi network and ZigBee technology. This technology represents the most advanced solution in the smart home sector. Learn more about how it works in our previous article. This technology is designed for less demanding products, primarily lighting. 

      1. Click the "Add Device" button 

      2. Select a product from the list 

      3. The smart gateway and Wi-Fi network configuration will now begin; simply follow the setup wizard in the app

      4. Click "Wireless Gateway Configuration"

        • If you have purchased the Immax NEO BRIDGE PRO 

        • You will then be prompted to connect to a Wi-Fi network 

        • Follow the instructions on the screen; the smart gateway should flash red rapidly

        • The connection will then be established automatically

          How to Add Smart Lighting (or Other Devices) to the Immax NEO PRO App

          1. Click the "Add Secondary Device" button 

          2. First, reset the new device, and then put it into pairing mode

            • If that is not the case, the app will automatically prompt you to take the necessary step

            • The system will search for the device, which will then appear on the screen

            • Click on the visible device and wait for it to pair 

            • Everything is ready to use 

              How to Add a Smart Device to a Wi-Fi Network 

              Outdoor and indoor cameras, smart plugs, and garage door openers. The Wi-Fi network primarily controls more demanding devices. If you plan to connect multiple products to the system, make sure your router has a strong connection and sufficient range. 

              1. Click the "Add Secondary Device" button

                • The system will search for the device, which will then appear on the screen
